Amazing soup dumplings, fried gyoza was okay. Prices are high for what you get, compared to the average izakaya.Halfway through your meal the server comes over and requests you to make a TripAdvisor or Google review and wait around the table until you pull it up on your phone, which we found a bit off-putting. When you make a reservation online you are told about a free dessert included for making the reservation. We didn't receive this but totally forgot about it until after we left.

You can't find these unique soup dumplings anywhere else in the world! They have soup inside, but come in delicious chicken soup as well. The fried chicken and appetizers are also highly recommended.

I really like soup inside of xiaolongbao, and their soup dumpling was like dumplings swimming in that soup- which was amazing. Also their beef ramen was great!

Absolutely love this place- not only is my work super close absolutely love the gyoza!!!! The service is phenomenal, they’ll make sure you have a great time, and food is cheap and delicious. There are many gyoza places in the city, but Gyopao is located right dab in the middle of Roppongi and super convenient access!

This place was recommended for gyoza and beer and I was expecting fried gyoza. What arrived was gyoza dumplings in hot broth. Really unusual and I’m told rare. Really tasty but almost burned my mouth off. There’s definitely a technique to eating these beauties. The owner of the store is 81 and he puts on a show with his ukulele which was genuinely entertaining. See photo. And you can pour your own beer (as much as you can drink in 2 hours - what’s not to love about that?). You can also pour whisky and soda - I did laugh at that. Definitely worth seeking out.

This place will blow your mind.Didn't know what to expect when I walked by and I'm so happy my wife and I walked in. Very original concept mixing Taiwan dim sum and Japanese izakaya. Self serve highballs and beer? Yup. Would recommend to anyone that has a soul

The spicy hot pot is delicious - so complex and tasty. The dumplings are plump and light and the spice made my lips numb- exactly what I wanted!! It is served bubbling like a cauldron and has tofu and more in it..Go there now‼️

The service is awesome and the food ist interesting! I really enjoyed the meal but the price is a little high and I have spent 30 dollars for 4 dumplings and 4 sausages.

Famous for its sausages and dumpling soup, but it's really an all round pleasant experience. You can book online, there's plenty of English guidance, very friendly staff, and well lit easy-going atmosphere. Popular among hip young locals, probably the weakest point is the drink selection, but everyone seems to have a great time with the tap beer anyway.

Soup dumplings were very unique and delicious. Really great for a winters day. We shared a large size (12 dumplings) and 2 chimaki as well as a highball and sparkling water for a total of around 4600. The highball is quite weak because Gyopao also offers an all you can drink. Affordable but a bit expensive for what it is hence the lowered rating. The food is “hole in a wall” quality - above fast food but below restaurant. The atmosphere is really warm and cosy but don’t expect privacy or quietness. It’s so busy so be prepared to share a table. Also it’s 300 yen cover charge per person but includes an appetiser to share. Some staff speak a bit of English and others not so much. But they give you a mobile application to order - super handy!

Best place to visit in Tokyo! Fear not if you don’t speak Japanese! You will watch a short intro movie explaining everything - staff will make you feel at home! I recommend the “Omakase menu” - where the best dishes are chosen for you - please advise the staff of any allergies or dislikes so they can adjust their tailored selection for you. Fusion of Taiwanese and Japanese cuisine that will leave you with the best memories.

Absolutely incredible food and service! If you have one thing on the menu, be sure to try the shumai. But, why limit yourself to that, when the Gyopao is equally amazing. So good, we came back three times during our trip. I couldn't recommend it more. A must stop for any foodie visiting Tokyo!

This place is amazing. They have all-you-can-drink, serve yourself beer, high-ball, and seasonal drinks that are well worth your money. The food is delicious! We had the soup dumplings, sausage, and fried gyoza- everything was fantastic! The fried gyoza was the real show-stopper though, 10/10 recommend. The wait staff was absolutely lovely! Our server Zicco was absolutely amazing and we would definitely come back!

Drinks are compulsory and was charged a seating charge of 300 yen each pax. The waiter upstairs was not courteous. Forgot our order and we had to remind him twice to get our order. Bad service. Not for foreigners. Avoid.

Try taking a dump to the face here! Lovely Taiwanese-Japanese fusion soup dumplings. Extremely charming and friendly atmosphere. 10/10.

IT’S A SCAM DON’T GO THERE It is obviously a tourist trap, we ended up paying 160$ for 4 small plates of dumplings and some drinks, and they were unable to explain the pricing properly. They avoided all questions concerning the bill. Men and women are charged different prices!!!! The food was okay, but not worth a fortune. It was definitely fast food quality - ironically, the service was very very slow and not great.
